Activities
Our activity host Mel organizes a variety of activities, ranging from dominoes and bingo to armchair workouts, PAT dog visits, arts and crafts, and more! Mel dedicates time to running activities both in communal areas and for residents who cannot leave their rooms. Every effort is made to ensure everyone is included in the home’s activities. Additionally, various entertainers such as singers, ice cream vendors, and even a mini zoo visit the home, providing something enjoyable for everyone, regardless of ability level.
Staff
Over 50 dedicated and experienced staff work together to meet our residents’ needs. Our staff includes nursing and personal care professionals, catering, housekeeping, laundry and maintenance teams as well as a management and administration team.
The Home owner has more than 30 years of care home management experience and works closely with the entire management team on a day to day basis.
Many staff have worked at the Home for more than 5 years, some have stayed for more than 25 years!
Services
We have a weekly visit from a professional hairdresser, appointments can be made for specific events at other times. There are regular scheduled visits from a named optician, dentist and foot care assistant. Private arrangements can be made with other providers of these services if preferred. There are facilities for bathing and showering which are accessible to all. There are areas for quiet private time both indoors and outdoors.
At all times we operate as per government guidlineswith regards to infection control.

All our menus are changed to reflect the seasons. So you always have a selection of the freshest ingredients.
Space
All of our lounges and dining areas are welcoming and comfortable, our two dining areas are bright yet calm with lots of natural daylight and lead out onto safe garden space. There are tables and seating in all garden areas.
Smart Care
We are not texting! The device is what we use to update our care records using Nourish, a cloud based care management system, looks just like a mobile phone.
